Great design - broken crystal (2010-06-28)
Love my Skagen so bought this for my partner. She's a school teacher so practical and stylish are great for her, but after a few months, the crystal broke - as has been reported on other Skagen watches. They were responsive (the Skagen website) and repaired it promptly for $35. Bought it cheap so the $35 extra was still a bargain. Otherwise, it's a 5-star product.
Love it the minute I opened the package (2010-06-04)
I bought this item after I had lost my previous titanium watch was lost. I love titanium bands, they're so much lighter than other metals. I looked around for a while but this was the only one I found that was within my budget and pleasing to look at. I thought initially that it would be too big, but the minute I saw it I loved it. It is very feminine looking and yet still sporty. The band is also super light. This is my first black band as I usually opt for the silver or gold but I'm very happy with that decision. I love the look and the design of the watch. And I especially like the mother-of-pearl face, it's beautiful and yet subtle. I hope to have it for many years to come.
Elegant yet simple (2010-04-28)
I love the clean simple look of this watch and the combination of black satin and gloss finish on the band. The mother of pearl and crystals make it look elegant and expensive. The face of the watch is on the large side for a woman's watch. I like the size as I think it gives it a sporty kind of androgynous look that does not look out of place even when you are dressed up. Though the face is larger (not huge), the watch is incredibly thin and light. You hardly notice it's on your wrist. It's by far the lightest watch I have owned. I miss having a date on my watch but the a date on the face would detract from it's clean look. I don't miss the second hand it is readable in the dark. I have several more expensive watches and I think this watch looks a nice as any of them.
I've only had it a few days so I can't comment on how it will wear. It looks like the finish will wear well.
